Martin Scholz

/ Chief Executive Officer

Prior to joining ROI, Mr. Scholz was a financial consultant at Deutsche Bank in Germany for 20 years and a regional director for the broker’s mobile sales force. While at Deutsche Bank, he managed a team of financial advisors and was responsible for providing a range of financial and estate planning services to individuals and families. He was also responsible for the acquisition of new private and business clients, organizational planning and strategic management, as well as for advising entrepreneurs on how to successfully develop their business. He has graduated as Certified Banking Manager Level 1 at Frankfurt School of Finance &. Management.

M. Scott Vayer

M. Scott Vayer

/ Executive Vice President
For over thirty years, Mr. Vayer practiced as an attorney and counselor at law. A founding member of the Cardozo School of Law (Yeshiva University, NYC), he was honored as a Samuel Belkin Scholar and was awarded a Doctor of Laws (J.D.) in 1979. Mr. Vayer earned his B.A. with Field Study from Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts (1979). Before entering private practice of law he served as General Counsel & Director of Business Affairs for the 3M Company’s cable TV subsidiary, CNI.
Mr. Vayer brings experience in international business, real estate development, strategic planning, M&A, equity, debt, secured finance, export administration & BXA licensing, corporate crisis management, software development, new technologies, and more. From offices at Rockefeller Center in New York City, he has performed corporate and transactional work, project teaming in security, and, when he practiced as an attorney, federal and state litigation, negotiation, mediation and arbitration. Besides his roles in private litigations, he chaired AAA arbitrations by party designation and administrative appointments (made by the American Arbitration Association), and also served in court appointments, including for example, the Eastern Airlines case. He worked for more than twenty years as outside general counsel to an international corporate group with combined sales to $100M in the U.S., Europe, Middle East and Russia, as well as a multi-brand EU fashion group, and for diversified national and international business interests including corporate directorships. He has also been an adviser to a U.S. presidential administration for discretionary economic development grants as part of the federal block grants program.

Yuhi Horiguchi

Yuhi Horiguchi

/ Chief Financial Officer

Yuhi Horiguchi has over 17 years of experience in finance and accounting serving corporate clients primarily in Asia and the United States with a focus on financial management, business turnarounds, financial restructuring and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining ROI, he was a founding member and/or held executive roles in several Tokyo-based financial advisory firms. During his tenure, he was involved in various turnaround projects for financial service firms where he held executive positions and successfully achieved corporate turnarounds. Prior to founding his own firm, Mr. Horiguchi worked at Deutsche Securities Inc. where he was involved in identifying and analyzing corporate investment opportunities primarily in distressed debt, equity and real estate. He began his career at Ernst & Young LLP where he was an audit manager providing audit and business advisory services to Japanese and U.S corporate clients.

Claudia Nelke

Claudia Nelke

/ Vice President of Administration

Ms. Claudia Nelke joined ROI as Executive Assistant to the CEO in December 2015 and was also appointed as Corporate Secretary in June 2017. After completing her education in graphic arts and visual communication, Ms. Nelke worked as Artistic Director for several national and international brands. In 2001, she became Customer Service and Visual Communication Manager for large-scale interactive 3D projects related to international events or outstanding sites. Through her work as a real estate broker, she acquired substantial knowledge of related legal processes and the management of real estate projects.
